Sports betting: MHSC renews its commitment
On Tuesday, MHSC reaffirmed its commitment to preventing the risks associated with sports betting and match-fixing.

In 2013, MHSC was a pioneer and trailblazer in signing the ‘sports betting’ charter, a commitment it has since renewed. This charter, developed in partnership with the Professional Football League, the UNFP and Unecatef, aims to raise players’ awareness of the risks associated with sports betting and match-fixing.
The players were made aware of the risks they face in relation to sports betting and the restrictions that apply directly to them. In turn, the trainee players and technical staff at the MHSC academy, followed by the entire squad and technical staff of the first-team squad, received intensive training from experts in sports betting. Taking the form of short presentations and discussions, this educational day successfully alerted the professionals to the potential dangers and real threats.
At the end of the training session, Julien Laporte, captain of MHSC, Zoumana Camara, coach of the first team, and Bertrand Reuzeau, director of the Academy, Adam El Boughlamy, captain of the Gambardella team, and Lucas Da Silva, captain of the reserve team, signed the ‘Sports Betting’ charter, which the club – and in particular the players who took part in the day’s activities – undertake to respect.
MHSC welcomes this awareness day as part of the effort to tackle the risks associated with sports betting.
